La comida en Lima es alucinante, Jorge nos llevó a almorzar y también cenamos en su casa con Anais.

Casma to Huaraz, Peru

Subimos de 500 metros de altitud a 4500, en una carretera de 60 km de tierra. Subiendo por la montaña con precipicios al costado y cada vez mas frío, niebla, lluvia, pozos. Pero unas vistas increíbles.
We went from 1000 feet above the sea level to 14,000. Up the mountain on a 40 miles dirt road with precipices on the side and coldder at every mile. Sometimes with fog, rain and huge potholes, but there was also unbelieveable views.

Pasamos por varios asentamientos de unas pocas casitas. Y los niños saludaban o se acercaban curiosos por las motos.
We crossed many small settlements of a few houses, and the kids were waving hands and curiouss about the motorcycles.

Parece que he perdido un diente (es el micrófono del intercomunicador).
It seems I lost a tooth (it's the microphone of the intercom).

Las motos formaron un buen grupo de curiosos.
The bikes made a small crowd of curiouss people.

Una gran multitud en la frontera Ecuador-Peru, hacia calor y era muy ruidoso. Martin intentando permanecer tranquilo.
A lot of people at the border of Ecuator-Peru, it was very hot and noisy. Martin trying to stay calm.

Afueras de Quito, Ecuador

Pasamos al lado de este esqueleto de camión..
We passed by this truck skeleton...

...y luego lo encontramos en la gasolinera.
...and then we found it at the gas station,

Nos agarro la lluvia y el frio, por suerte a la noche encontramos un lugar para dormir con estufa a leña en la habitación. Comidita casera y la calidez de la gente nos hicieron volver el alma al cuerpo luego de pasar mucho frio en la carretera.
The rain cold caught us on the road. Luckily at the end of the day we found a place to sleep with fire place in the room. Homemade food and the warm people gave us life again after so much cold.
